4 Week Mentorship Course Outline
Over the course of the 4 weeks, you will receive on average around 12 hours of instructions, tuition, and support.
Your first session will be a one hour consultation, on what you wish to achieve, your goals, your interests and to assess your skills and knowledge.
A practical one hour session either in the studio or out in the field, this will be an introduction to your camera, the settings when to use different modes and lenses and just getting a better understanding of your camera altogether.
Next you will be introduced to the studio and model photography for a three hours session that will cover
Today we will be outdoors for our three hour session and this will cover using natural light to photograph a subject/model
Lightroom and photoshop, this is a 1 hour session that will cover editing your photos in Adobe Lightroom and Adobe Photoshop,
The use of flash, this is a two hours studio session where you will be using off-camera flash to create compose and understand lighting a model in a studio setting.
This is a second one hour practical session where we will sit down and start editing some of your photos from the past few sessions and reviewing your style of editing.
During the course of your mentorship, you will be assigned an assignment to do on your own, this will be to photograph people friends and family members in certain situations on your own. Once done we will then review your images and the techniques you have used to create the images and the editing that you have done.
Over the course of the year, we run full-day model group shoots for 8 hours you will be invited to attend one of these free of charge and be fed on the day.
